Rancho Leonero offers guests a fleet of fully outfitted fishing kayaks made by the best in the business, Hobie and Ocean Kayak. The Ranch was known as a pioneer in Kayak fishing in the early 90’s, and since then we have become the premier destination in all of Baja for kayak fishing.

Explore the famous double reed for Pompano, roosterfish and sierra or paddle ten minutes to the boat moorings for Dorado, tuna and other Pelagic game fish. Equipped with rod holders, paddle retainers and available live bait buckets, our pro-angler kayaks are a great alternative to shore fishing, as well as an inexpensive option to chartering on of our fishing boats.

We have rods and reels for rent ($10) but you might consider bringing the following:

* 20lb test outfits - spinning or conventional
* rod tethers
* 3' gaff
* chrome spoons and lures (Krocodiles, etc) 1-3oz
* trolling plugs
* hoochies
* 1/0 live bait hooks
* sinker assortment 1/8 to 1oz
* pliers (bring 2)
* burlap sack or divers bag (if keeping fish)
